The Story of Dipsy Began with a Quiet Yet Powerful Truth: Skincare was never meant to be this hard.

It started with two skincare journeys happening at the same time.


Mine had been going on for years — trying things, reading labels, feeling like I was always one product away from the routine that finally worked. And then my daughter became a teenager, curious about her skin the way teenagers are, and I found myself looking at everything through a new lens. What would I give her? What could I stand behind completely?


That question sent me back to school. I completed diplomas in Organic Skincare Formulation and Beauty Business Management at Formula Botanica, the world's leading organic cosmetic science school — because I wanted to understand what I was putting on our skin at every level, from the chemistry of each ingredient to the integrity of how a brand is built. Not just trust the marketing. And the more I studied, the more I kept arriving at the same place: the ingredients that performed best, the ones with centuries of proof behind them, were already growing around us. Kokum from the Western Ghats. Coriander from our kitchens. Mango butter from the trees we grew up under.


We had been taught to look outward for what was already here. To import what our grandmothers never needed to seek out. Indian botanicals that had never needed a rebrand because they had never stopped working — quietly, consistently, without a 47-ingredient label or a 10-step routine to justify themselves. The best skincare in the world was already ours. We had just stopped believing it.


Dipsy is not a system. It is not a shelf full of steps or a routine that requires a spreadsheet to follow. It is what skincare looks like when you start from honesty — one product, the right ingredients, used every morning and every night, for skin that genuinely changes over time.
